Blog Post Title Two

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Leif Nesse

I'm Leif Nesse, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) providing teletherapy services to clients throughout Washington State. Currently based in Palo Alto, California, I bring a unique perspective to mental health care, having previously worked as both a paralegal and web developer before transitioning to therapy.

This diverse professional background gives me deep insight into the specific pressures faced by professionals in high-stress environments, particularly those in tech and legal fields. I understand the challenges of demanding workloads, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and the difficulty of maintaining work-life balance in competitive industries.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients identify connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to create lasting change. My practice incorporates an eclectic approach, drawing from mindfulness-based techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems as needed to best serve each client's unique needs.

I have experience working with diverse populations including men navigating societal expectations, couples working through relationship challenges, seniors facing life transitions, adolescents struggling with identity and academic pressure, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine understanding to my practice.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and solution-focused. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and my goal is to help clients develop the tools and insights they need to become their own advocates for mental wellness long after therapy ends.
